An ecological neighborhood in the Palace of Versailles, where it is projected an ecological farm of 1.4 hectares, 150 shared gardens and an orchard of 8 hectares. The project, which will be built between 2019 and 2026, called Terres de Versailles will house 800 families and intends to put into practice the territorial planning that privileges the triptych defended by Deyrolle, Nature-Art-Education.

Terres de Versailles, citè fertile consists in the creation of an ecosystem, particularly nutritious that responds to contemporary environmental and social challenges. Biodiversity will be cultivated and a micro-farm and shared gardens will be created. The ecological neighborhood will be created based on the identity of the city and the territory, in harmony with a natural and artistic landscape.

Commercial spaces and activities will be created based on the principles of organic food and recycling, traditional learning places such as kindergartens and schools with an alternative education and ecological and innovative center dedicated to the energy transition, as well as an hotel, an equestrian center and a flat land dedicated to sports.

Since 2008, the City of Versailles carried out this project respecting the landscape in relation to the space of the castle, creating housing in symbiosis with nature, protecting it against noise pollution and controlling the use of the car.

At the beginning of the year, this project of ICADE /Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and Deyrolle /Victor Broglie were selected in the contest after presenting an innovative project with environmental and educational ambitions.
