Rita Andringa and her team are the driving force behind the renowned Andringa Studio, which focuses on interior design, architecture and landscaping. After training in interior design, she gained valuable experience in various ateliers, and spent several years under the mentorship of designer Vera Iachia. This background equipped her with the tools she needed to create spaces that are not only aesthetically impressive, but also satisfy the practical needs of her clients. The ‘Comporta style’, a phrase coined by Vera Iachia herself, is deeply engrained in her work, but her creativity knows no bounds, as evidenced by the impressive portfolio she has developed since 2019. Among these are the Sublime Hotel and Comporta Beach Club which masterfully blend artisanal techniques with natural materials in unpretentious sophistication; Sublime Lisboa, a boutique hotel renowned for its discreet elegance and its Davvero restaurant which pays a beautiful homage to classic dining with a contemporary touch; Aguiar 84, a luxury residence that combines contemporary design with a harmonious fusion of styles and tastes, and the personality of its inhabitants, and Vale Feliz, a country retreat that skilfully incorporates natural elements with a modern air. The Andringa hallmark is defined by creative use of colours, textures and lighting, and the incorporation of unexpected architectural elements. This approach fosters close collaboration with artists and artisans who contribute their expertise in a way that respects and enhances a contemporary narrative with significant impact.
