Lisbon
A French couple first fell in love with Comporta – but it wasn’t long before they longed for a home in Lisbon, one that would echo the spirit of the coast while paying homage to the city, ideally with the finest view over its hills and rooftops.
In the heart of Lisbon, along one of its most distinguished avenues, the penthouse of a restored building has been reimagined with quiet grandeur. Here, the refined simplicity of the Alentejo Coast is elegantly woven into the romantic soul of Lisbon, touched too by a whisper of Parisian flair.
The outdoor spaces dissolve seamlessly into the interior, creating a fluid threshold between inside and out – a natural stage for convivial living. Each room serves as a passe-partout, revealing something of the character and rhythm of the family who now calls this place home.
The interior palette draws warmth from timber, the project’s material of choice, grounding each space in nature’s calm. Alongside the wood, natural stones, terracotta and woven fibres enrich the composition with texture and authenticity. Textiles – curtains, rugs, and upholstered pieces – imbue the space with softness and tactility, binding function to feeling.
Furniture, both curated and custom-designed, plays a decisive role in shaping the atmosphere and utility of the home. Organic silhouettes sit gracefully alongside bespoke creations, each piece selected not just for how it looks, but for how it lives.
A home where Lisbon’s light meets Comporta’s soul – crafted with intention, lived with grace.
