This interior design and decoration project located in Lisbon was completed in 2022, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
The contemporary design concept was chosen to match the clients’ preference for a modern aesthetic. The clients’ admiration for the large, well-lit living room with three French doors set the tone for the overall design brief. They desired to maintain the contemporary look of the space while incorporating designer furniture pieces and artworks from both Portuguese and Asian origins.
The project approach involved collaboration with the clients, who had a strong understanding of the design world and had specific pieces in mind. Andringa Studio incorporated these pieces while also adding some surprises along the way. The challenge was to combine the distinct personalities of the Portuguese-Asian couple and create a harmonious fusion of styles.
Aguiar 84 is a testament to Andringa Studio’s ability to merge contemporary design with clients’ unique preferences, resulting in a stylish and personalized living space that reflects the diverse backgrounds and tastes of the owners. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the project was successfully completed, creating a stunning home in the heart of Lisbon.
